Sirina Fire Protection Tech Seminar

On April 19th, 2023, Sirina Fire Protection hosted a Fire Protection Tech Seminar with speakers from Honeywell-Notifier, Reliable Automatic Sprinkler, and Perimeter Solutions.

Over 30 uniformed staff of the Nassau County Office of Fire Marshal attended this event along with the Suffolk County Fire Rescue and Emergency Services, Port Authority of NY/NJ, Town of Babylon and Town of Smithtown Fire Marshals, Brentwood Fire District, NYU Langone Health and more!

This event was held to discuss topics such as: the design and technology of fire alarm systems, types of sprinkler systems, and clean agent extinguishing systems. Our goal is to help educate those who work with New York State’s Uniformed Fire Prevention and Building codes. We would like to thank everyone who came out and we will see you at the next one!

Anthony Florez

Cycle for Cure / Cycle for Survival Year Four

Sirina is proud to announce Roz Ziskroit’s 4th year participating in Cycle for Survival in the fight against cancer.

It's a way of life, a celebration, and a movement fueled by the courage to end cancer.

This year Roz is dedicating her ride to the memory of Anthony Florez, Founder and Chairman of Sirina Fire Protection Corp. Mr. Florez had a vision for where and how the fire and life safety industry could progress to provide higher standards of protection. Mr. Florez was a humble and generous man, expecting no recognition or accolades in return; a force not to be reckoned with. His infectious smile will be missed. This can be a WIN, WIN, WIN! More donations mean more money to be used to fight against cancer!

Please join Roz in this fight against cancer by clicking here or joining next year. Thank you for your support!

Operation Backpack

Sirina Donates to Volunteer of America‘s Operation Backpack

Operation Backpack donates a school bag full of supplies they will need for their grade

Since Volunteers of America-Greater New York was founded in 1896, they have relied on community support to help enrich the lives of those in need. Every backpack given to a child through Operation Backpack® is filled with brand new school supplies according to the child’s grade, so that these children look and feel just like their classmates.

For example, high-schoolers get a dictionary and a scientific calculator, while the youngest children receive watercolor paint sets, washable markers and drawing pads. Children preparing to take geometry receive a protractor, compass and graph paper. Sirina Fire Protection and its employees are proud to have been able to contribute to this cause.

Cycle for Survival

Cycle for Cure / Cycle for Survival

Cycle for Survival is an initiative created to fight rare cancers.

Rare cancer patients make up about half of all people fighting cancer, but they often have limited or no treatment options because rare cancer research is drastically underfunded.

Cycle for Survival raised $30 million in 2016—more than $140 million in a decade. Every single dollar is directly allocated to rare cancer research at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center within six months of the events.

In March of 2018, Rosalinde Ziskroit, an employee of Sirina Fire Protection, participated in her third year supporting Cycle for Survival.

Since becoming involved with Cycle for Survival, she has committed to help beat rare cancers. We have all been touched with stories of someone losing a friend, a loved one and with continued support, one day a cure will be found to beat rare cancers.

She rides for those we love, for those who can’t, for those fighting today and for those who will fight.

Roz and Sirina Fire Protection thank you for your continued support.

Toys For Tots

Sirina Employees Donate Over 100 Gifts to Toys for Tots

Sirina Employees donate over 100 toys this holiday season to the U.S. Marine Corps’ Toys for Tots Program

Anthony Florez, Chairman of the Board and Owner of Sirina Fire Protection commented “With our employees’ generous support, we will be able to fulfill the Christmas holiday dreams of many less fortunate children, who otherwise might have been forgotten.”

For nearly 70 years, Toys for Tots has been the U.S. Marine Corps’ premier community action program. The Toys for Tots message of hope for the future has motivated youngsters to grow into responsible, productive, patriotic citizens. Toys for Tots not only benefits children, but also has a positive impact on communities, on businesses – large and small, on the Marine Corps and on the nation.
